A licensed therapist will perform an assessment and evaluation on every therapy candidate.
The therapist will then tailor a plan of care according to your lifestyle or goals.
Treatment or intervention will be provided by a licensed Physical Therapist to assist you with your recovery and/or goal achievement.
Documentation will be done at each session to accurately record your progress and modify intervention as needed.
Helps to improve, promote, and restore functional mobility, and helps manage pain symptoms.
Common conditions that may be treated with PT include, but are not limited to:
Arthritis
Back and/or knee pain
Muscle strains
Ligament sprains
Postural deviations
Fracture and post-operative care
Stroke or other neuromuscular conditions
Musculoskeletal conditions
Sports or work-related injuries
Prosthetic or orthotic training
Pain management
Modalities and interventions that may be used / given to aid you with your recovery:
Physical agents – therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, etc.
Thermal agents – hot or cold packs, contrast baths, infrared radiation, etc.
Therapeutic exercise and activities
Neuromuscular techniques
Wound care
Provides assessment and treatment for patients who have a decline in functional ability and difficulty with daily living skills.
Common conditions that may be treated with OT include, but are not limited to:
Neuromuscular diseases or disorders
Impaired visual perception skills
Impaired fine motor skills
Onset of falls
Work-related injuries
Prosthetic or orthotic training
Modalities and interventions that may be used / given to aid you with your recovery:
Cognitive and behavioral modification techniques
Thermal agents – hot or cold packs, etc.
Therapeutic exercise and activities
Neuromuscular techniques.
